Computers were created by exhaustive work by millions. The only reason they were made were for efficiency.
Darkwire recognises this and insists on using code that is efficient.
If a program is sapping at all the resources it can, the entire computer will suffer.
Programming efficiency is above looks and sounds.
Pay by result
Developers in Darkwire are paid by result - the better the result of a task, the more money they are paid.
Developers receive all the software packages and equipment they may need to work in their field (as payment).
If developers wish to share their software they can make it avaliable, and they can request that their software be removed from a specific (or every) Darkwire employee's computers.
